Four Is Four
Our first video - singing about who we are.
Robert Are Cool
Amazing amount of work from artist Dave Howard!
Unless We Success
Don Dixon shot this. Dave edited. Silly serious fun.
A punk word video.
Check it out
I took my “action figures” around the world.
THE DEEP LOUNGE COALTION
Before Bonzai Suzuki, Dave Howard and I worked on an album called Sub Urban.
This song was not released on the album. Great Bob Scott as Herve…and photos of Herve.
All things Villichaise. (thanks to Serge Sloimovitz for the extra voice)
Believe it or not, this is
GIMME SOME MORE originally a hit by Busta Rhymes.
LOOK PEOPLE 1984-1993
I was in a band for 9 years…along with some very good friends we had years of antics.
We made a lot of videos. Some professional but even the shitty ones are amazing. ;-)
We made this video for $500 bucks. I edited it myself.
It made the Much Music top ten that year and Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Devo loved it.
Mark Mothersbaugh said “the masses are asses and need look people glasses.”
Directed by Joel Goldberg, shot by Gerald Packer on a wind up 16mmm bolex camera!
Thanks to Laura Kikuaka for allowing us to shoot at The Funny Farm.
We were serious for a while there…another directed by Joel Goldberg!
After being covered in paint on “the Environment” video I promised the band I’d write a story board where we could be
outside having fun instead of the Bovine Sex Club covered in black paint.
This is that. (Nash The Slash does the violin solo but wouldn’t shoot in daylight. Ha!)
Looking For A Job That Doesn’t suck
Here is a song we recorded live at The Rivoli:
Here’s the same song, but totally different after remixed from Walter Zweifel. Directed by Joel Goldberg with guest Mike Cliff.
Crabby Crabby Lady
Live from Daytona Beach Spring Break on Much Music.
A cheesy epic video from way back (1989). Directed by Mike Alyanak.
Dinner At The Edge
And here’s an excerpt of one from Great Bob Scott that I just love:
THE TIKI COLLECTIVE
The early days Live. (La Rev in Toronto 2017)
The Wanderer (Feat. Denielle Bassels)
Denielle and friends made a feel-good video. How a young girl and big foot can frolic in the woods and not get creepy - it’s a testament to all involved, and to a really sweet, positive song!
Hypntoized (Feat. Heather Luckhart)
Chris Minz created this fun little vid!
Dreaming (Feat. Avery Raquel and Bill McBirnie on flute)
Avery sings an original song she penned along with Sophia Perlman. This is a lyric video.
THE ROYALL JELLY ORCHESTRA (1993-2005)
Nothing to brag about here. Amateur stuff. We made a few good videos, just have to find them…
I wrote poem this in the late 70’s after seeing Planet of The Apes. In the late 80’s Look People performed it live. Then I wrote a “real song” with Jono Grant and we released this in the 90s.
May I digress? Here’s a SIMPSONS APES clip from 1996. Hilarious!
Nothing to do with me, but when I saw it I was pleased that someone else loved the idea of Planet of The Apes in song:
You Oughta Know
Badly dubbed…I will find a nice version to put up soon. (yeah…soon…)
